Barron's Top Ten Alien Websites

About 600 years ago, many humans believed that Earth was flat and the center of the universe. Heaven was up in the clouds and hell was under the earth near a fiery furnace.

With the development of astronomy and other sciences, we've discovered that Earth is a very tiny part of a very large universe that has been around for a long, long, long time.

The universe was built to be inhabited by someone. At least, we're here.

When we started to develop nuclear weapons in the 1940s and 1950s,  UFOs were sighted in abundance. Suddenly, little green men and other bizarre creatures made their appearance in both written and film science fiction. The religious mythologies of the past were replaced by high tech mythologies of advanced civilizations.

Sooner or later, we'll discover the full truth about these "heavenly realities". Here's my top ten list of "Alien Websites" on the internet"

  1. The UFO/Paranormal Search Engine
  2. The Nexus Magazine
  3. Alien Organizations
  4. The Marcabians
  5. The Galactic Federation
  6. Hidden Mysteries
  7. Alien Encounters
  8. Circle Of Lights
  9. Jor-El From The Future
  10. The Nexus Of Star Trek

Open Source Spirituality

I believe that all of us are confronted by cosmic mysteries like "life after death", "the origin of the universe", "the nature and influence of God", "memories of past lives", "alien encounters",  etc., etc.

I believe that some but not all the answers reside within us for those that are trying to solve these puzzles. We put different pieces together for the same puzzles. If we work as a team (i.e. "open source"), we will solve the puzzles with our pieces and others.

Religions by their nature are not open source. Their goals are often control and group perpetuation rather than individual enlightenment. It's easier to follow a dogma by "those who know best" rather than search diligently to find what is true for oneself.

In the realm of computers and the internet, I admire greatly those who have tried to keep these subjects out of the hands of "software priests". These champions are Tim Berners-Lee and Linus Torvalds.

The inner secrets of the Free Masons, the Illuminati and other groups are now being broken by those who can communicate freely on the internet.

Clarissa Paisley: Nancy Drew Of The Paranormal

A difficult, out-of-this-world mystery like Hotel California needs a passionate, intelligent detective who doesn't carry around a lot of supernatural or internet baggage.

A friend of mine (Clarissa) from California is willing to take up the challenges of investigating these weird places in Arizona, but she won't look at any of the controversial websites because it might compromise her objective judgement. She said, "Anyone can create a website on anything. That doesn't mean it's true."

Clarissa and her grandparents will be visiting the Native-American Burial Grounds there as well. Finding out about one's heritage is as important as solving unsolvable mysteries.

Hotel California: It Was Part Of My Spiritual Journey

The above has nothing to do with listening to the Eagles' song, "Hotel California" over and over again in order to figure what it's about.

This particular "Hotel California" is simply a symbol for a religious organization that I belonged to for quite awhile. My journey into Hotel California was a dangerous spiritual journey that many pilgrims can identify with. "Who are these people and what are they actually doing?" are questions that many followers have had to ask of their  Brethern.

Often one gets answers to the mysteries of life, but other questions about the group remain. Are the leaders of this group supported by secret government agencies or something else more insidious?

The most exciting thing about our particular story is that some of it is based on truth. Something horrible happened at "Arizona's Hotel California" and nobody wants to investigate it. Why???

Star Trek Voyager: Deathwish And New Age Religious Thought

This was the first look at the inside of "The Q Continuum" in the Star Trek universe. For one "Q", having godlike powers and immortality isn't all that it's cracked up to be. He wants to die.

Janeway visits the "Continuum" and weighs the pros and cons about eternal life in an advanced civilization. In the end, she rules for the rights of the individual over the group. "No one should have immortality forced on themselves if they don't want it."

I see a parallel between this episode and the original "Brotherhood Of Christ." The "sons of God" misused their powers and probably became bored with immortality. The divine solution for these sins and idle behavior was to incarnate these prodigals into the human race where they would lose their powers and forget who they were. They would die as spiritual beings.

As the Apostle Paul stated in the New Testament, "As in Adam, all die, so in Christ, all will be made alive." With the help of Christ, our memories will be returned to us of the present life and any earlier life. Like prodigal sons and daughters, we will return home.

Making Some Extra Dollars And Helping Others Too

On the radio today, I heard, "If the minimum wage rose as much as the average CEO salary over the last few years, it would be valued at $22.00 an hour". That isn't going to happen soon.

Money always has a way of attracting more money. A CEO can invest in equities when the stock market is going up and hedge funds when it's falling.

The very rich engage in "mergermania" by using their company's profits to buy other companies. You might think of this as a "hobby" for billionaires.

The average Joe has to work overtime or at another job to supplement his income. Some of his investments would be in mutual funds, but not too much, because he could lose much of his savings on a market downturn. It would be nice to invest $100,000 in a hedge fund, but most of us are paying off mortgages and other debts with hard earn dollars.

If one had the time, one could learn how to play blackjack and poker successfully.

It would be nice to make money off of hobbies like painting, woodworking, and writing, but those activities are labors of love first and anything else second.

If I had a windfall from a lottery and/or a book/screenplay sell, I would pay off our mortgage and some personal debts. I'd also do some renovations plus buy some decent speakers for my home theatre system and get a large high definition TV. After that, Irene and I would take a Newfoundland vacation. The price tag for all of this would be less than $90,000.

There are many children, Canadians and artists worse off than ourselves. After helping needy members in our families, we'd assist underdogs elsewhere.

Come With Me To Youthful Energy-Land With "Squeeze Box"
Mood:  lyrical

Squeeze Box by The Who releases a lot of youthful energy within me. I don't know why this is. It's just a very nutty funloving song that I love dancing too.

The Who have released their share of meaningful, power rock songs like "My Generation" and "Won't Be Fooled Again". However, something like "Squeeze Box" appeals to my teenage sensibilities of glorified nonsense.

"It's like riding a big greaseball wave in my underwear."

Another Christianity 101

When one is involved in a spiritual journey, it seems to be human nature to go the "easiest route", the one with "the greatest comforts". I suppose that in the fifth century too much mythology and gospels had clouded the life of Christ. It was too much for Christian leaders to deal with and besides they wanted certified status as a bonafide religious group from the government of the day, Rome.

This all leads to the simplification of Christianity under the "Nicene Creed". This would put "The Gnostics" out of commission with their heresies and other gospels. Christianity would become a " Divine Club-Med Travel Agency".  Believe in the right dogma and go through the right rituals and, bingo, you have an "express ticket to Heaven".
It was a black day for Christianity: The socially responsible brotherhood became an oppressive human organizational hierarchy.
When I was a teenager, I knew that Christianity hadn't developed much over 1500 years, but I knew The Brotherhood of Christ had developed over the last 1900 years. "A New World" had been established outside of normal time and space by Jesus. In some ways, I'm still mystically connected to that new world/universe.
This mystical connection written about by the Apostle John in his gospel is really true. "I am the Vine. You are the branches". Also with Paul, "We have the Mind Of Christ". "As in Adam all die. So in Christ shall all be made alive." "Behold, I make all things new."
The early Church had to deal directly with the death and resurrection of Christ same as we have to deal with it today. It was an overwhelming experience for a human being. What does it mean to me? How are things in the unverse changed from it? Where do I come from and where am I going to?, etc.
For a long time I wandered through different religions, new age and old seeking answers. It appeared that a great deal of mind control had been used against humans in the past. In the 20th and 21st century, there were discussions about alien contacts and abductions, Area 51, The Illuminati, secret societies, etc.
The bottom line is that Jesus and The Early Church were not responsible for the above suppressions.
My blog contains many of my visions of The Kingdom of God over the last 1900 years.
I don't consider Christianity to be "a canned subject" like those at the Council of Nicaea.

Happy Birthday, Davy
Mood:  celebratory

That's happy birthday to me not Davy Crockett, although I loved wearing raccoon hats and I loved Davy.

Do you remember who played, Davy Crockett back in the 50s on the Disney TV show? It was Fess Parker and his sidekick was Beverly Hillbilly, Buddy Ebsen, right?

Well I'm still working working for a living and I still have a mortgage on my house.

We giving the place a new interior paint job which hasn't been done in 20 years. This could take two weeks or more to do.

I still have my health and I still write/blog, at least, once a day. That's cause for celebration.

In a year and a half, I'm going to get a full pension from the Canadian Post Office. That's a lot more than most people have in Canada.

Sure I beef about the expense of renovating this old house, but my late mother, Doreen Barron, bless her soul, helped us out very much.

Like Davy Crockett, I have to keep fighting for what I believe in and keep moving on to new frontiers and greener pastures.

Comment And Answer From My June/04/07 Blog Entry

During the recent Canadian postal contract dispute, I received many critical comments on my support of "The Tentative Agreement" which became the new CUPW/CPC four year contract.

It was refreshing to receive a positive comment on a post called "Haven't We Met On Another Planet Before"? I have to publish my reply as a blog entry because I can't reply to any comment in "The Tripod Blog Comment Box".

Here's the original comment from Mark:

Hi - I'm also ordained in this mostly non-physical order, and talk with the Chief on a regular basis.  He asks for it to be spelled more like the original pronunciation Melekzedek (Milik Tasddiq would be closest, but too hard to type all the time.)   The mind-meld thing is interesting, isn't it!  I've been doing that for around 2 years now, and it's really, like, "that's how we should have always have been thinking!"  It's oddly familiar when it happens, and I can't wait till it's a 24/7 state for me.  My communications with M, as well as others, happens mostly as psychograhic typing, and the lessons I receive this way are phenomenal.  His healing energies, including frequencies, colors, and just plain thought-forming, are tremendous.  I've been doing healing work local and long-distance with Melekzedek for around 5 years, and it blows my mind the strength of his energies, and the way th! at all those in this organization assist so generiously in our development and in helping us heal, at all levels/layers.  Hope to link with you sometime!"

Here's my reply:

Hi Mark,

"This is like writing to an apostle.
It's great that you've connected with this brotherhood. I like to refer to it as a spiritual brotherhood rather than a priesthood order.
You've definitely developed your abilities far more than me. Healing at a distance, very good.
I've been in Christianity since it started. I should be more spiritually advanced than I am now. I suffer from something called "Demonic Personality Disorder". Don't ask me to explain it. Most of the time it's controlled.
There are some things I can talk about relating to "heavenly realities" and there are other things that are confidential that I can't talk about.
Are you familiar with the eternal worlds of Christ like "Christmas World," "Graceworld" and the various "Earth Continuums" through the centuries? Basically, these are big comfort zones for believers (i.e. "The Children Of The Kingdom")
I get emotional when I start to talk about this stuff. It was a big loss reincarnating on Earth. I screwed up good. I got a second chance. It's confidential. I can't talk about that problem.
I'm not a big promoter of "heavenly comfort zones". I believe in spiritual empowerment leading to improved spiritual stewardship in various areas of the human condition.
There are big challenges on Earth: pollution, terrorism, poverty, government secrecy, etc. If anyone thinks of himself as a heavy hitter in the spiritual world, he should apply his powers and his energies to problems on Earth.
The crusade is on. There's no retreat and no surrender until it's over....over there on the dirt ball called Earth."
