New Domain Addresses For Personal Websites
In order you find your way quickly to our personal websites, we have two easy to remember domain addresses. For "David Barron's Top Ten Movies", it's "www.davidbarron.biz" and for our "Barron Family Webpages, it's "www.daveandirene.ca". The former is up and running and the latter will be in a couple of days.

There's more background information on "Hotel California" and our fun life in Canada on these websites.

How do you like the new banner at barronblog.com?

Man's Inhumanity To Man
Despite the destructive power of the South Asian Tsunami, it's small in comparision to the murder and genocide perpetrated and tolerated by mankind.

It should be easier to deal with evil tendencies within our species than the environment, but that hasn't been the case in recent history.

Man needs help in overcoming forces which can destroy him or make him a slave.
Our Heavenly Father, may your name be honored;
May your kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day the bread we need,
Forgive us what we owe to you, as we have also forgiven those who owe anything to us.
Keep us clear of temptation, and save us from evil.

The Movies: "Hotel Rwanda" And"White Noise" Open Today
I find it ironic and significant that a movie about the murder of 900,000 Rwandans opens on the same day with a movie about communicating with the dead.

In 1994, the Tutsis(minority Rwandans)never had a chance to communicate their plight to the rest of the world. Perhaps, the "white noise" that they've been making for ten years is finally getting through.

Taking Us Out Of The Shadow Of 9/11
By its sheer magnitude and destructive power the Dec/26/04 tsunami eclipsed the day of infamy on Sept/11/01.

Both events made us aware of the vulnerability of the human condition.

Both events made us aware that we all need help sometime in our life.

The evils that plague countries or individuals may vary in size and power, but they are shared by all courtesy of the mass media and the internet.

While there isn't any magic wand to make destructive results disappear, there are visions and efforts to make the world a better place to live in.

Truly, most have us have moved from the shadow of 9/11.

Movie Review 87: The Last Samurai
Tom Cruise does very well as a haunted U.S. soldier who trys to redeem himself among the Samurai.

Unfortunately, the story is very predictable in its development and ending. The violent action scenes while well done simply go on too long.

The honour of the Samurai comes down to a suicide attack against modern 19th century weapons which negates any kind of skill that they have as agile sword fighters.

It's not an honourable thing to rush machine guns. It's just plain stupid(Look at World War One).
Two and a half stars.

An Important Point On Disasters
It should be noted that the animals near the tidal waves moved to higher ground long before the humans knew what was going on with the Tsunamis.

Native North Americans have always tried to communicate with animals to find out what is going on around them.

Some individuals have a danger sense which others might call intuition.

There are millions of ways an ordinary person can be killed in a split second. Surely, with this kind of vulnerability, somebody near the Indian Ocean should have sensed danger long before it happened.

It Isn't Enough Just To Live A Good Life
While others around you are being victimized by every evil possible.

There is such a thing as spiritual stewardship of the earth which would include weather control(i.e. tsumanis). Charity may be fine after a destructive event, but what about the needless deaths and the billions in damages.

Humans can only do so much in predicting and protecting against weather calamities.

Somewhere along the line, certain trained powerful spirits have to take responsibility for weather control. Are you one of them?

Whether in this life or the next, we have to carry our burdens and do our jobs.
