Well, I felt lucky so I flew back to Las Vegas and entered a big poker tournament. Surprise, I took home $1,000,000.
Do you believe that? Do you believe that I entered a poker tournament that would have cost me thousands of dollars?
Nah! I'm just a 1 or 2 dollar-a-game player.
The picture on my left was taken last month at Binions in Las Vegas. The money is out-of- date 1937 bills. It took me so long to get to Binions that I ended up getting bunions. I only took that home with me because of my tight shoes.
Sure you can win a million or two at poker, but in "ring or cash games" you can lose your bank account and your shirt too.
I don't count on poker to get rich or to even pay the bills. I'm just an ordinary recreational player who plays for the fun of it.
