The Christmas Rush Is In High Gear At Canada Post

In the International Incoming Section(Toronto Exchange Office)where I work, many posties are working a 12 hour day, 7 day work-week.

This week, I'm working on the dock unloading one trailer after another until there's no room to put the mail anywhere. It requires unlimited overtime and many temporary workers to keep up with the volumes. I'm very tired, but I do manage to work on my days off.

I consider myself fortunate to work in a section where many additional staff members have been hired to handle the increased business of International Mail coming into Canada.

The postie-beaver elves also help Santa in answering his mail from around the world. Check this out:
