Mood: irritated
A couple of weeks ago, Simon had declared that the final competition would be between Fantasia and La Toya. This relegated Diana and Jasmine to second class competitors.
I don't think the audience appreciated this attempt to fix results. It was fitting irony on the "expert" opinions of the judges that the favourites were placed in the loser circle. To me, this was audience backlash against the blatant attempt to manipulate the votes.
Don't get me wrong. I felt that La Toya should have stayed and Jasmine should have went.
The influence of the judges' negative and positive opinions should have ended when the top 12 performers were chosen. After that, the audience decides who's the best and the worse. What do you think?
