For the first time in a year, we went out to the Newfy restaurant in Brampton called "Eastern Passage". It's a nice place with good Canadian/Newfy goodies and downhome/country music.
It was raining out, so I told my, Irene, that if her middle name was "Blacksmith", she would make a bolt for the door. Well, she didn't and got a little wet.
My wife had pan fried cod and fries covered with gravy and dressing(a real Newfoundland treat). I watched my diet and had a salad with a juicy hamburger.
The band playing were the Islanders from New York, Newfoundland. We didn't know them, so we left.
Total cost of the food and drink was $19.95. Not bad.
