The Basis Of New Age Christianity
There is a passage from the Book of Joel in the Bible which translates as this:

"It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions."

The growth of "The Personal Vision Movement" began near or before the 1950s. It grew as beatnik poetry, existential writings, science fiction visions and new age religious thoughts which emphasised the journey of the truth-seeking pilgrim.

The authoritarian "canned or dogmatic versions" of Christianity started to decline. What seemed to be relevant in the 4th century AD seemed to irrelevant in the 20th century.

In the 50s and 60s, with nuclear annihilation hanging over mankind, many sought to find their own answers to the ultimate questions of life.

Some of us were abducted by aliens. Some had visions of heaven(hell?)through rock and roll.
Others wrote science fiction about advanced civilizations and powerful spirits. New age movements developed which emphasised the effects of unpleasant hidden memories on the present life.

I honestly believe that prophesy of Joel is being used by Jesus Christ to communicate the reality of worlds and civilizations that exist beyond Planet Earth.

In the 21st century, Jesus wants to empower us so we can perceive what has happened with the Kingdom of God over the last two thousand years.

The internet helps to create a common mind on those things which we have shared in the past.

Memories of this life and past lives can be saved.

It is from the above experiences that Age New Age Christianity has developed.

Within the near future, I plan to put these spiritual insights and blog entries into a separate webpage.

I'm interested in your personal journey through life.
Please share it with me.
