If You're A High Risk Driver, You Should Do Something About It
Who wouldn't if you're paying hundreds of dollars a month to an insurance company?
1. Be honest with yourself about your driving.
2. Take a safe driving course so you can handle what's wrong with your driving.
3. Join a support group of other high risk drivers.
4. Practice being extra cautious and looking out for the "other guy".
5. Pray for protection from unseen dangerous traffic conditions.
6. Try not to drive when you are tired.
7. Reward yourself for ticket and accident free driving.
8. Don't drive if the traffic tickets keep piling up.

Mood:  celebratory
Yes, and I'll be working blanket overtime for the next month and a half at the Toronto Exchange Office in Mississauga. That's seven days a week, ten hours a day. I'll be one tired blogger, but I'll try to keep up with these entries.

In the meantime write a letter to Santa care of Canada Post, Santa's helpers will write you back. The postie elves that is.

Polar Express Versus The Gravy Train
Obviously, these are two different views of Christmas. The latter is the economic benefit that businesses gain during the Christmas season and the former is a mysterious journey to a mysterious land.

On planet earth, it is unfortunate that the commerical aspects of the season far outweigh the mystical/magical aspects of it.

As I have said in other blog entries, there has been attempt by "dark forces", to suppress mysticism and magic by reducing it to unreal fantasy. Nullifying the power of spiritual helpers is also part of this diabolical program.

Needless to say, "Santa Claus", "Harry Potter", "The Incredibles", etc., etc. keep popping up in artistic works seeming appealing to children's fantasies.

We all want to remember what it was like before the "materialists" and "control freaks" sent earth to the dark age.

Perhaps, at one time or another, many of us have ridden on something like the "Polar Express."

What's A Canadian?
Hey.
I'm not a lumberjack,
or a fur trader...
and I don't live in an igloo
or eat blubber, or own a dogsled...
and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
although I'm certain they're really, really nice.

I have a Prime Minister,
not a President.
I speak English and French,
NOT American.
and I pronouce it ABOUT,
NOT A BOOT.

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peace keeping, NOT policing.
DIVERSITY, NOT assimilation,
AND THAT THE BEAVER IS A TRULY PROUD AND NOBLE ANIMAL.
A TOQUE IS A HAT,
A CHESTERFIELD IS A COUCH,
AND IT IS PRONOUCED 'ZED' NOT 'ZEE', 'ZED'!

CANADA IS THE SECOND LARGEST LANDMASS!
THE FIRST NATION OF HOCKEY
AND THE MOUNTIES STILL GET THEIR MAN!

MY NAME IS DAVE!
AND I AM CANADIAN!

Christmas Time In The Canadian Post Office
Right after Halloween, the mail seems to pick up quite a bit especially where I work in the Toronto Exchange Office.

We're moving from the six day work week to the seven day workweek. Obviously, lots of overtime for Santa's big elves and witches/wizards.
