Movie Review 59: The Four Musketeers
Mood:  suave
Despite the predictability of this sequel to "The Three Musketeers", the great cast still captures the bravado of the first movie. Lots of tongue in cheek stuff that works some of the time. Story line seems to alternately drag when looking for a gag or the plot and then pick up with a great sword fight. Two and a half stars.

The Universal Blog/The Universal Internet
Mood:  spacey
At some point in time, I would like to transfer content of this blog to an ISP network that transcends the boundaries of human life on this planet. Why connect to just the humanoids on this world? Surely, there's more to intelligent life in this gigantic universe than on this polluted dirt ball. Perhaps, the perfect place to build a universal blog is in an area where spirits, aliens and human life meet(i.e.Katimavik).

The internet has broke down many barriers already on earth. Just imagine if we hyperlinked to the nearest sector in our galaxy. Welcome, earthlings to the Star Trek Federation Of Planets.

My Top Ten Modern Plays Of All Time
Mood:  special
Most writers would like to create something that lasts more than their lifetime. The following list are excellent plays that I've either seen or read. I hope that some of them make your top ten lists as well:
1.The Glass Managerie 2.Waiting For Godot 3.The Seventh Seal 4.Death Of A Salesman 5.The Caretaker 6.Who's Afraid Of Virgina Wolf 7.A Long Day's Journey Into Night
8.Play It Again Sam 9.Uncle Vanya/Anton Chekhov 10.Streetcar Named Desire

It's true that artistic works from one's own life can be complex and difficult to understand. That's because in dealing with real people with real conflicts, there isn't any simple formula for understanding deep personal human experiences.

Isn't it great to hyperlink to other webpages and go there immediately,
even to mystery websites like this one.

Web Traffic On Our Sites
Mood:  special
Despite the downgrade on some of our websites at Google, we still managed 14246 page views from Dec/13/03 to Jan/13/04. Doing the math, that's over 450 page views a day. Thanks for visiting our sites and thanks for participating in the "Global Village" of "The World Wide Web" as conceived by its founder Tim Berners-Lee.

More On Google Search Results
Apparently, Google has gone more commercial with its search engine. Buying "Adwords" or "Adsense" seem to determine how high one is placed in the search engine results. Before this new policy, "The Angel At Hotel California" placed ninth with regards to a "Hotel California" search. Now, the webpage is relegated to page three in "The Google Directory."

Hits on my angel website have dived because of this change favouring big businesses.

Despite this setback, I will continue to promote Hotel California/Area 53 in as many ways as I can. I still believe that the web can empower the underdog who has something passionate to say about life or his experiences. What do you think?
