Healing Energy

Man isn't just a collection of cells. The basic nature of man is spiritual. We are individual "life units" in a physical bodies. This life unit is capable of emitting either white(positive) or dark(negative)energy.
The white energy can be directed at any body part with the thought "I feel alive". Often, this will produce a warm feeling or a tingle sensation. Some healing may occur.
In a similar vein, negative energy can be taken out of a victum's body as grief.
Different holistic practices approach spiritual healing in different ways. One uses the technique that works for him. Energy fields are not the same from one human to another.
We are either putting positive or negative energy in ourselves or others. On a physical level, this could manifest itself as wellness or sickness.

Laughing is good for the soul and the internal organs.

1. A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, "I'll serve
     you, but don't start anything."

   Unusual."
5. Two cows are standing next to each other in a field. Daisy says
    to Dolly, "I was artificially inseminated this morning." "I don't believe
    you," says Dolly. "It's true, no bull!" exclaims Daisy.
6. An invisible man marries an invisible woman. The kids were
    nothing to look at either.
7. Deja Moo: The feeling that you've heard this bullshit before.
8. I went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I
    couldn't find any.
9. A man woke up in a hospital after a serious accident. He

The War Against Cancer
Mood: on fire

It isn't about how medical experts can kill cancer cells in a body. That's their war. The real war is the personal one between you and those malignant cells that are trying to do a number on you.
You want to survive and to be healthy. The evil cancer cells just want you to die as miserably as possible. The battle to survive and to succumb is being fought in your body. There's will, emotion and thought connected with this whether positive or negative. Obviously, we want to be on the winning side. The side that survives. We want to kill those cancer cells with positive energy, thoughts, emotions and a healthy immune system that does its job.
We eat/drink good foods and exercise intensely to get the body's organs and glans working at maximum efficiency. We're warriors in a war. We just don't sit down and watch passively as medical treatment does something or nothing to our bodies.
Long before we step into a hospital or clinic for tests, we're fighting the battle against cancer. We're building a healthy body and a strong soul against the forces of physical destruction. Added to the above are strong prayers that enlist the powers of God to conquer this loathsome enemy in ourselves and others.
This isn't just a another job or duty. It's a crusade.

Memories Of The Barrons, Peevers and Wilsons

We visited my mother at the hospital today. My brother, Bob and sister, Linda were there as well. This seemed to cheer my mother up because she got out of bed, sat in a chair and talked to us.
When we went back to our mother's house, we looked at photos of ourselves and our family when they were younger. We found rare pictures of our great-grandparents(The Wilsons who lived into their nineties)and my mother's family(The Peevers). My mother was quite a looker in the early forties. Check this out:

My Mother Is In A Newmarket Hospital
Mood: sad

I was quite distressed yesterday to discover that my mother's VON nurse called 911 to have her sent to South Lake hospital in Newmarket.
I went up yesterday to visit my mother(Doreen Barron)in emergency. She has serious health problems that haven't been fully diagnosed yet. I telephoned my brother, Bob and sister, Linda Wilkinson, yesterday. Today, I telephoned my aunt in Toronto(Olive Buckley) and my brother, Ted in Cobden, Ontario.
Certainly, mom could use some cheering up. If you know Irene Barron, please visit her in the Newmarket Hospital at the address and map below:

In Income We Trust

But not any more. The Canadian Government has moved to close loopholes that allow "Income Trusts" to pay no taxes while corporations do. It seemed two of Canada's biggest telephone companies, "BCE" and "Telus" wanted to hop abroad "the gravy train" and become Income Trusts rather than private companies.
All you have to do to qualify is pay out your profits to "investors" who are on board the gravy train too.(It pays better than bonds, dividends or anything else.)
In the end, the Canadian taxpayer would have to pick up the tab which was a billion a year with 700 million going to foreign investors who pay minimal tax.

Why I Drive A Chevrolet Uplander?

Well it's cheap for a minivan with the features we wanted: The cruise control, the power windows, the two sliding doors, Onstar, the MP3 player, the DVD player, the anti-lock brakes, they came with a basic package worth $21000.
We had trouble with the airconditioner and MP3 player, but these were quickly fixed under warranty.
I found the ride atequate, but the fuel mileage leaves something to be desired. Sure, I could have paid an extra $10000 to $15000 for a Japanese minivan with better mileage, but I didn't want to drive it for 10 years and then replace the expense parts.
I'm looking forward to the day when all car companies will making "plug-in hybrids." Just imagine a smog free city and over 100 miles to the gallon. The faster this happens, the better off we will all be.

Prejudice Against The Undead

Human prejudice comes in many forms, prejudice because of race, prejudice because of religion, prejudice because of culture, etc. However, the ultimate human prejudice is against the undead and zombies in particular, pure and simple:
Zombies want to eat your flesh and brain
Zombies are only interested in killing human beings
Zombies are demons from hell
Zombies are basically all the same with a destructive intent
Zombies are the evil scum of the universe
Movie after movie has portrayed them as soulless, mindless killing machines.
You never see anything from the zombie's point of view, because supposedly it's being controlled by the devil or some unseen power. This smacks of propaganda. If some zombies showed up on Earth, we would be at war with them. No diplomacy or communication would be used by human governments.
There's a story here that isn't being told. In the 21st century, zombies seem to be entertainers who act in movies and scare people. Of course, there's something scary about not staying down when you're dead. Our society just doesn't have any place for the undead except on Halloween.
The story about who the zombies really are and what they really want has never been told. Maybe I'll be the one to tell it, someday.

Movie Review 108: I Bury The Living
Mood: a-ok

This is a genuinely spooky suspense/horror movie from 1958. Black pins go into a cementary grave-plot map and people die. White pins go into the same place on the map and.....you'll have to see the ending yourself.
The film has the suspense and mood of a Hitchcock tale with a Twilight Zone kind of feel. You never seem to know what's going to happen next.
This is a different kind of movie for Halloween. Three and a half stars.
