The Butterfly Effect Number One At The Boxoffice
Mood:  cheeky
As predicted on Friday, despite bad reviews, "The Butterfly Effect" was number one at the boxoffice. Well done for those who had the guts to do this story.

Films should be made for general audiences who are looking for something different and thrilling rather than for artsy, fartsy critics. Any decently or sometimes not so decently made sci/fi, horror, thriller usually does well at the boxoffice.

It should be noted that our screenplay, Hotel California falls into the above genres with lots of mystery added. It's also based on real events and real people.

It's Still A Cold One In Ontario
Sometimes it feels like Newfoundland here. Now, I know why the Vikings left. They weren't real Newfies. Pass me a Canadian(beer)buy.

A Prediction On A Movie Opening This Weekend
Mood:  a-ok
A movie review in the Toronto Star gave "The Butterfly Effect" one star. However, I think that it's weird and offbeat enough to debut at number one this weekend in North America. Check back here on Monday and see if I'm right.

A New Business In Barrie
Molsons isn't running the business below. I think it was contracted out. They're not Christmas trees. I know that. What do you think?

Movie Review 59: The Four Musketeers
Mood:  suave
Despite the predictability of this sequel to "The Three Musketeers", the great cast still captures the bravado of the first movie. Lots of tongue in cheek stuff that works some of the time. Story line seems to alternately drag when looking for a gag or the plot and then pick up with a great sword fight. Two and a half stars.

The Universal Blog/The Universal Internet
Mood:  spacey
At some point in time, I would like to transfer content of this blog to an ISP network that transcends the boundaries of human life on this planet. Why connect to just the humanoids on this world? Surely, there's more to intelligent life in this gigantic universe than on this polluted dirt ball. Perhaps, the perfect place to build a universal blog is in an area where spirits, aliens and human life meet(i.e.Katimavik).

The internet has broke down many barriers already on earth. Just imagine if we hyperlinked to the nearest sector in our galaxy. Welcome, earthlings to the Star Trek Federation Of Planets.

My Top Ten Modern Plays Of All Time
Mood:  special
Most writers would like to create something that lasts more than their lifetime. The following list are excellent plays that I've either seen or read. I hope that some of them make your top ten lists as well:
1.The Glass Managerie 2.Waiting For Godot 3.The Seventh Seal 4.Death Of A Salesman 5.The Caretaker 6.Who's Afraid Of Virgina Wolf 7.A Long Day's Journey Into Night
8.Play It Again Sam 9.Uncle Vanya/Anton Chekhov 10.Streetcar Named Desire

It's true that artistic works from one's own life can be complex and difficult to understand. That's because in dealing with real people with real conflicts, there isn't any simple formula for understanding deep personal human experiences.

Isn't it great to hyperlink to other webpages and go there immediately,
even to mystery websites like this one.
