File Sharing Software Of The Week

I tried downloading a movie with "Bit Comet" and, needless to say, the download went on for two days with no final result. When I had 70% of the film, the download froze and wouldn't give me anymore bits and bytes.

However, the sucker was good at uploading, but that didn't help me any.

I started using Morpheus, yesterday and the download appeared fast for a lite internet connection(20 to 30 KBs per minute). At 12 last night, everyone on the peer to peer network went to bed, so the session ended without the movie.

I started it up after I came home from work today and I'm up to 80% after three hours Saturday and three hours Sunday.

For music, my P2P favourite channel is "Limewire." For downloads of 700 MBs or more, I'll go with the recycled and refurbished, Morpheus.

Changes To The Barron Blog

Everything needs a change now and then, so I've given the "Barron Blog" a facelift.

I've also changed the links a bit. They used to be on the left side. Now they're on the right side. I've also tried to make the links more relevant to blog surfing or link jumping.

Hopefully, the changes will improve your visit to my blog and other websites.

Backing Up The Barron Blog

This has been the first backup in this blog's history. Unlike telephone calls or chat lines, we do occasionally put down memorable thoughts and experiences about our life. Some of this material is worthy of being saved and remembered later.

There've been over 900 posts in the weblog since it's beginning in February of 2003. The subject matter moves from the sublime to the ridiculous with incredible ease much like my own life.

I'll be redoing the weblinks on the left side, because in order to do the backup on a flash memory drive, I had to erase the URLs of my links. They were screwing up the blog pages.

With ten entries on each page, The backup ended at 91.

Hopefully, this blog will continue as long as I live.

Achieving Peace In The Middle East

Most people would think that I'm dreaming in technicolor. However, if you read these blogs carefully, I'm contributing to a higher level of action beyond "Human Emotion and Reaction".

Obviously, this conflict between Israel and the Arabs has been going on for a long time. The deaths have mounted up and many negative memories and emotions remain behind. These negative memories and emotions feed the demons in the area who operate on destructive purposes. The pot seems to be continually stirred by those who are seeking revenge.

In order for any kind of human peace process to go forward, these devils would have to be cast out of the area and bound for a length of time. A spiritual army would do that.

Having achieved the above, the spiritual army could assist in human disarmament.

There are other spiritual conciliators who could address long standing grievences and bring about long term solutions.

There is no doubt that prayers from earthly stewards assist this peace process immensely. We are helping to create a better world for ourselves and future generations.

Working Stupid
Mood:  don't ask

Today, I was helping two guys move junk from my mother's basement to a truck in the driveway. All went well, until we started to take the door off of an old refrigerator. For about 20 minutes we took turns trying to smash the door off with a hammer and a crowbar.

We were like the 3 stooges putting in a light bulb, one guy held the bulb while the other two turned the ladder.

The screws holding the outside door brackets didn't fit our flathead screwdriver so we held the refrigerator against the wall and tried to smash the door off. This was working stupid for 20 minutes

Finally, one guy(not me)discovered the inside brackets could be removed with a flathead screwdriver. We removed the screws and then removed the door. This was working smart for 3 minutes.

Getting a large appliance up small stairs onto a small landing and then out a wee door was a very difficult task. Thank God for vasoline.

Actually, the secret was three guys working together to flip the fridge at the right time.

My mother was pleased enough to tip me for my efforts. I was happy to go from "Moving For Stooges" to "Moving Made Easy For Dummies."

My Dream Of Wizardry Last Night

Lately, I've felt like Popeye over the Middle East situation in Lebanon. "That's all I can stands. I can't stands no more." He then eats Spinach and moves into action against the bad guys.

This whole situation has been going on since 1948. There has been major wars in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. Diplomatic actions get started again and again and then fail again and again.

Psychopaths of one kind or another have turned this area into a "HELL HOLE".

There are many humans and spiritual beings who want to see change for the better in the Middle East. In my dream last night, I believe I met with other like-minded spirits who were preparing to take action against the antagonists in Lebanon. Military strategies and tactics are confidential.

I'm from Canada, we get along with people from all kinds of religions and cultures. That's the way it should be anywhere on earth.

Happy Birthday Irene

Today is Irene's birthday. I'm very happy, she's my wife and dear friend. We've been through many ups and downs together. She has always tried to help her family and my elderly mother in every way she can. She has given much more than she has received in this life. She has great ability to keep going through all kinds of adversity. I am fortunate to be part of her life. Happy Birthday, Honey.

Collateral Damage Of Canadians In Lebanon

It makes me angry to see innocents killed in a conflict that doesn't concern them.

If for some reason, I was separated from my body I make it my divine duty to protect civilians in crummy wars like the one in Lebanon.

I would also see to it that the killers on any side would be incapacitated by any means possible. Spiritual power versus brute force, who do you think would win?

Human beings are too fragile to engage in warfare.  When armies start killing armies, bystanders too easily become "collateral damage." This shouldn't be toleranted.

Earth Needs A Super Police Force

Back in the old days, individuals and countries settled disputes through personal one-on-one combat(eg. David and Goliath). That isn't the case these days because cowardly military leaders attack and hide behind massive armies and powerful weapons.

War has become the domain of psychos who measure their success by body count.

Why should decent and innocent people be at risk because some terrorist wants to blow them up? These fanatics should have their weapons taken away from them. When this happens, countries can then disarm and concentrate on ending poverty, ignorance and disease in the third world.

We could have a robot enforcer like "Kort" in "The Day The Earth Stood Still." We could have policemen that have super human powers like "Superman and the Justice League of America." We could have powerful invisible beings who could spy on criminals and bring them to justice with their testimony.

Human military forces and governments have such problems with hidden suicidal terrorists. Wouldn't it be great when the world is saved from this threat once and for all?

Helpful Web Forum Of The Month
A couple of weeks back, I got a surprise from a web forum. This was solid advice from a writer on my project that made some sense.

The advisor's name is Derek Paterson and his forum and website are listed below.

He gave free positive advice on my screenplay logline(i.e. Telling my story in approximately 25 words or less).

Any confused, negative person and his grandmother can give advice in a forum. That's why you have to be prepared for the worse.

The forum is called "The Logline Clinic". It doesn't get a great deal of traffic.
