The Ultimate In Canadian Boring Entertainment
Seen any really boring sports on TV like darts, bowling or golf. Those might make somebody's top ten list of boring TV sports, but right at the top would probably be curling.

Curling is something that Canadians are good at.

Check out the top Canadian curling teams at CBC Sports Curling

Also, take in a Canadian movie on this sport called Men With Brooms It's not about male witches. It's about curlers, Canadian ones at that.

Remembering Auschwitz 60 Years Ago
"The evil of Nazi ideology did not come from nowhere. The brutalization of thought and the loss of moral inhibitions had a history; above all, Nazi ideology was desired by people and man-made."

German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder on the 60th anniversary of the camp's liberation.

When I read this newspaper article on the above, I cried my eyes out and muttered, "What have I done?" My soul is in danger of eternal damnation.

Later on in the same year, I was born in Pembroke Canada.

Mission Statement Three For The Barron Blog
Most of us know that the New Testament was written in the first century A.D. There were great insights into God and Jesus Christ at that time. Unfortunately, the "Era of Revelation" ended in the first century for most Christians.

I found it hard to believe that Jesus and "The Body of Christ" would cut itself from the brethren on earth. If one were connected to Jesus and the early church through a common mind, then the link with the first saints would continue and expand. It didn't. Most believers wanted a heavenly escape from the harsh realities of earthly life.

The fixation on dogma stopped the mystical connection with Christ from expressing itself.

The dark ages continued until the 20th century when sci/fi writers began exploring the possibilities of advanced alien life and civilizations in the universe.

Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings and other works were results of non traditional, non religious searches for truth as to what was actually going on in galaxy.

"The Mind of Christ" after 100 A.D connected with me when I was eighteen. The experiences of millions of Christians over two thousand years could now be accessed on a slow gradual basis. No matter where Christians were in the universe, they were united with Jesus and his divine mind.

Separating myth and imagination from actual experience is a difficult process, but it can be done.

Part of this journey involves recovering the memories of many lifetimes.

There are ways to bring back memory fragments from world's long dead.

Hopefully, we can be travelers together on that long road that leads to a new heaven and a new earth.

Mission Statement Two Of The Barron Blog
Connecting up with spiritual brotherhoods(e.g."The Body Of Jesus Christ")which lead to improved stewardship of earth are important planks in my mission statement.

"The Brotherhood Of Christ" is familiar to human beings because of its connection to the Christian religion. Other brotherhoods come from artistic and mythical legends like "King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.", "The Jedi Knights of Star Wars", "The Q Continuum in Star Trek", "The Wizards of Hogwarts", "Freezoners", "The Justice League of Superheroes", etc.

Of course, personal visions of writers or prophets can't always be accepted in a literal sense. Earthlings see things within the reality of their own mind and that can be limited or distorted.

However, the common denominator of these brotherhoods is that they want to help man in some way. This brings about multiple pastorages in every field of endeavor.

One works with God and not against God. In biblical terms, this would be "The Son Of God Training and Stewardship Program." Souls/spirits connect up on a metaphysical level and do good works in the human community.

This isn't just something to do because there's nothing else to do. This is a crusade and a divine calling.

If we can share some mystical insights about cultures, beings and civilizations beyond this dirt ball, I think we're making progress in the right direction.

Mission Statement For The Barron Blog/Blogs
If you've found that the material in this blog goes from the sublime to the ridiculous, rest assured that this is intentional.

The bottom line is that I try to write about the more interesting or entertaining aspects of my life and the lives of others.

Mysteries don't begin and end with TV shows or novels. They are life's challenges that we must meet and overcome. Past lives, aliens, the afterlife, the nature of black holes, these are just some of the conundrums that we encounter in our journey through this universe.

I'm dedicated to pushing back the veils on these black curtains that bedevil man. Any method of inquiry including mysticism is valid.

Getting answers to questions can be fun and enlightening.

In meantime, I'll try to keep the entertainment/interest level of this blog at a high level lots of cartoons, jokes, top ten lists and movie reviews.

Movie Review 88: Spiderman 2
Mood:  a-ok
Tobey Macquire is great as the self-doubting superhero. For once I agree with the critics on this one.

The film takes the superhero genre to the next level. Four stars.

There were many of us in the Post Office who handled mail directed to Santa Claus. Look at the statistics.
1. 112,000 letters were received and answered in the Greater Toronto Area(GTA).
2. 461 GTA volunteers(Santa's helpers)answered letters.
3. 43 postal retirees(old elves)answered letters.
4. 6,134 letters were received from foreign countries. They were addressed to "Santa Claus, North Pole, H0H H0H. In my mail section, The Toronto Exchange Office, we directed this mail to Santa's volunteers.
5. 40 countries sent letters to Santa via Canada for reply.

We hope that Christmas time was a blessing for you like it was for us.

Difficulties In Registering A Domain Name
Over the last week, I've had considerable trouble in registering a CA name. After all, I live in Canada. It's good to have a Canadian domain name.

The name is www.daveandirene.ca. Should have been simple to register, but it wasn't. The authority responsible to do this is the CIRA. All I had to do was enter an account user number and password on this page https://registrants.cira.ca/user.
For some reason, the account user number and password didn't work. I didn't go to the next page in the registration process.

I wrote my web hoster and the CIRA about this problem and they couldn't believe it. They couldn't believe there was a problem. They threatened to cancel www.daveandirene.ca. I threatened with my lawyer.
I've had no problem registering domain names with godaddy.com, but these jokers are another matter.

Wish me luck.
