The Federal Election: Political Ad Of The Week
Mood:  a-ok
This has to go to the Liberal ad people who have successfully lumped Brian Mulroney(43 billion dollar deficit),Mike Harris(6 billion dollar deficit)and Stephen Harper together as the "Three Conservative Fiscal Stooges." This is the latest TV ad by the Liberal party that goes for the jugular on the subject of fiscal responsibility. Three stars
Former Prime Minister, Brian Mulroney
Former Ontario Premier, Mike Harris
Present Conservative Leader, Stephen Harper

Who's Going To Win The Canadian Federal Election?
The Liberals under the leadership of Prime Minister, Paul Martin, have not run a good campaign so far: too much mud slingling, too much focus on health care issues. The Prime Minister could have stressed his record against the deficit or produced a new policy on government accountability, but he didn't do this.

The Conservative have the best ad of the campaign which pictures Liberals or bureaucrats throwing money into garbage cans while circus music plays in the background.

The Conservatives have an outside chance of winning a majority(155 seats in the House of Commons)but the most likely scenerio is a minority Government with a coalition between the Conservatives and The Bloc Quebecois. This would be a government that might last eight months before a non-confidence vote goes through and another election is called.

Lester Person never won a majority, but he was Prime Minister for five years in the 1960s.

#1 Issue In The Canadian Federal Election
The number one issue in this election is FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY. No government can afford to waste billions, even millions of dollars of the
taxpayer's money.

Promises relating to social programs and even the every day operation of government is dependent on revenues from the citizens of Canada.

What I wanted to hear on last night's debate was "a hard line on fiscal responsibility" from the party's leaders. I didn't get it. What I mean by
"HARD LINE" is complete accountability for every dollar, dime and nickel that a government department spends.

I want to see upgraded accountancy and monitoring practices that can catch boondoggles, waste, criminal activities before the red ink begins to gush through the press to the public.

There has to be legislation in place that goes beyond Auditor General scrutiny to accomplish this. Something that can correct monetary
irregularities before they become "SINK HOLES".

If a party wants my vote and maybe millions of others, it should tell me and the Canadian public its bright ideas for handling problems that have plagued Liberal and Conservative Governments since Confederation.

Who Won The Great Leadership Debate?
Mood:  quizzical
He's probably the one whose party you are favouring.

All candidates had a tendency to dumb the debate down to the common denominator: lots of slogans, lots of stereotypes, lots of interruptions. However, Paul Martin seemed the most knowledgeable on "how government works" and "the financial issues".

After having went through the Ontario tax cuts with Ontario premier, Mike Harris, and the resulting Ontario deficit(8 billion dollars), I don't feel inclined to relive this experience nationally with Conservative, Stephen Harper.

Move Review 74: Paycheck
Sci-fi thriller has an intriquing premise about how junk can save your life in future situations. Interesting development of this story, but it bogs down with too many car chases and chiffhangers. Somewhat entertaining with reservations. Two and half stars.

Things You Wouldn't Say To Certain People
We all put our foot in our mouth, but here are some doozies.

To A Cub Scout:
"Have you ever been to sea, Billy?"
To A Teacher:
"I have two brains. One is lost and the other one is looking for it."
To A Mother-In-Law:
"If my dog had a face like yours, I'd shave his ass and make him walk backward."
To A Girlfriend:
"You're suffering from clap of the yap."

Do you have any of your own?

Religious Joke Of The Week
A man died and went to heaven, as he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, "What are all those clocks ? ". St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on earth has one, every time you lie the hands on your clock move." "Oh," said the man. "Whose clock is that one?" "That's Nelson Mandela's. The hands have seldom moved", said St. Peter. "Incredible," said the man. "And whose clock is that one?" St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have only moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life." "Where's (Put your "favourite" politician/lawyer's name here) clock?" asked the man. "(Politician's/lawyer's name)clock is in Jesus' office," said St. Peter. "He's using it as a ceiling fan. He's got a big office with lots of ceiling fans."

#1 Website Submission Software
This award has to go to the "Exploit Submission Wizard". No only does it submit to over 800 search engines, but you can submit as many URLs as you want for a designated term. For 35 dollars a month, I can use this utility even on junior webpages.

Thanks to "Exploit" "Alien Encounters" is number three on the Google search for alien encounters and there's a multitude of "alien encounters websites" on the internet.

For the first time, "Hotel California Mysteries" has cracked the top ten on the "Hotel California" search. Not an easy thing to do because there's thousands of sites with "Hotel California" in them.

Hopefully, you can make use of this software to give your webpages a higher ranking and more hits.

The Alien Body Count Game
Mood:  chillin'
As you might know, many aliens consider humans to be too stupid to be of any value except for sex and various sick-o games like "Body Count".

Throughout history humans have been murdered in war and elsewhere because "alien casinos" nearby like to take bets on body counts. This culminated in War Two where hundred of millions were suppose to die in an invasion which never happened.

Fortunately, there are a few superbeings who defended earth against these criminals.

Earth is a freezone(A ZONE, or area, where spiritual awareness may be pursued FREE of outside or disruptive forces)where there's suppose to be no extraterrestial tampering in its affairs or with its citizens. What do you think?

Flames Doused
Mood:  sad
That means Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup.

Congratulations. Calgary at least made it to the final. The Leafs(Laughs)were gone in the second round.

It was a tough series, a full seven games with two of them in overtime and the last one going down to the last minute(Score: 2 to 1).

In Canada, we all cheered for the Flames, but it wasn't to be.

Do you know the last Canadian team that won the Stanley Cup? If you haven't guessed it yet, the link is below.
