Web Dreams Versus The Reality Blog

Webpages express my hopes, dreams, nightmares and creative visions. My blog is the attempt to meet the challenges of my own life on a daily basis. This includes finding interesting material in order to make a daily entry.

Webpages are shaped by various themes, but the journal tends to be the random musings and/or experiences of a frustrated soul(i.e.me).

All and all, webpages and blogs are fun to do. If you have any experiences in getting your blog or webpage off the ground, I would be happy to hear from you.

My Pick For The Internet's Most Commerical Message Board

No one communicates to anyone on this message board. It's just used to promote internet businesses. It's called Hotel California/Area 53. Nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to stay there. I wish you lots of luck in whatever trade or vocation that you're in.

Avoiding Blackouts In The Future
Mood:  on fire
Alternate forms of energy should be used more than they are now: This includes wind power, solar power, and aura power.
The last one is the energy that the spirit gives off while in a body. Here is a website with more information on this subject.

Freddy Versus Jason
Mood:  cheeky
It's hard to believe there's still life in these well-worn supernatural antagonists, but Freddy Vs Jason was number one at the boxoffice this weekend.
Of course, the critics hated it, but audiences has been starving for this kind of thriller entertainment.
Put more mystery into this horror adventure equation and you have our "new-age caretakers" in Area 53.

Caught In One Mega Blackout
Mood:  incredulous
For those who would like to share the memories of the biggest North American blackout, here is a link to some pictures of the event.

Our Big Fat Blackout Of 2003
Mood:  accident prone

My family and I plus millions of others survived the biggest blackout in North American history. In Toronto and Brampton, civilians directed traffic through dead stop lights. Good samaritians brought water and juice to policemen who were assisting at intersections as well. Looting and vandalism were low.

Apparently, we're suppose to live without airconditioning for the next few days to help electrical power get totally restored. That will be tough considering we're presently in a heat wave.

We need a few good wizards for emergency power.
Maybe some of these guys can do the job.

Top Ten Worst Oldies
Mood:  down

You can still hear most of these songs on the radio. Some of them were big hits. They all suffer from tedious repetition and/or maudlin/stupid lyrics. Check out the songs:
1.Last Kiss/J.Frank Wilson 2.Leader Of The Pack/The Shangri-Las 3.See The Funny Little Clown/Bobby Goldsboro 4.Surfer Bird/The Trashmen 5.Hey Jude/The Beatles 6.Sympathy For The Devil/The Rolling Stones 7.Anyway You Want Me/Elvis Presley 8.You Are My Destiny/Paul Anka 9.Do The Freddy/Freddy And The Dreamers 10.My Boy Lollipop/Little Millie Small

Got your own top ten list on anything? Please send it to me.

Of the Bob Hope tribute cartoons, this is the one that I like the most.

The Foreigner
Mood:  don't ask
The only reason I watched this is because my wife is a Steven Seagal fan. More of the same gratutious boring repetitious violence. Heavy body count of innocent victims senselessly snuffed out. Awful stuff. Zero stars. Read the other reviews here.
