Event Review: SARStock In Toronto
Mood:  special
The verdict is in: The number one group was AC/DC followed by Rush, The Isley Brothers and The Guess Who. The Rolling Stones did ok, much better than "The Flamin' Lips".
Justin Timerlake seemed like a fish out of water, but he got to sing with Mick anyway. Lots of smiling faces at the end of the concert. Lots of money raised for SARS expenses. Minimal destruction to fans or property. Three and half stars

A Day To Remember: Toronto Rocks
Mood:  celebratory
In looking over the many pictures and cartoons from the Rolling Stones concert in TO, this one stood out the most.

I'm not a big fan of the Stones, but the celebration of life at this event was fantastic.

The Barron Weblog(i.e. Blog)

This is a running record of the more interesting parts of my life on a daily basis. Added to this are my movie reviews, my top ten lists on anything, my weird sites, and my best cartoons/jokes of the day.

I also believe that one should be imaginative as hell and express his/her unique views on anything.

Elvis Festival In Collingwood, Ontario
Mood:  party time!
Although this festival has been on the go for the last nine years, it's the first one that my wife and I attended. I found it very well organized with lots of good Elvis imitators. One tribute artist, Bob James from Buffalo(Buffalo Bob)was very funny. A song on a karaoke CD("Little Sister") started skipping, but he handled it very well. He complained that the band was drunk from the night before. He kept singing "Little Sister" over and over again to the skip and it was hilarious. In the evening, there was a free rock concert that we attended as well as the expensive Elvis semi-finals in the arena that we didn't attend. Three and a half stars.

Going through these recent postal contract negotiations was very stressful to me. Fortunately, I found a website that helped me relieve this condition.(Sorry, but it isn't a porn page.)

The Hotel California Project
Mood:  special
While I've worked at the Canadian Post Office for many years, it certainly doesn't influence me to the extent that "The Hotel California Project" does. Many of the links on the left hand side of this blog relate to this project and my own spiritual journey. In dealing with the mysteries of life after death, I hope you can find something here that rings true for you.
