Is it the story? Is it the cast? Is it the directing? These factors are important and many others as well. However to me, there has to be a special quality that makes a movie unique and special. This could be depth in understanding of the subject matter or depth in creative energy. Individuals might interpret these "special talents" in different ways, but the result is a movie that leaves a longlasting impression.
